  • Information you give us. When you submit a tool, subscribe to the newsletter or use the contact form, we receive the details you enter (such as your email address, name and message). Forms are processed by our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc.
  • Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and reliability.
  • Local storage. We store your cookie-consent choice and short-lived caches of public feed data in your browser's local storage. This information never leaves your device.

Third-party services

  • Netlify — hosting, server logs and form handling.
  • Forward Email — email forwarding for our contact address; messages you send to contact@ryza.si pass through Forward Email's servers on their way to us.
  • Google favicon service — tool logos are loaded from google.com.
  • Public data APIs — your browser may request public data directly from Hacker News (Algolia), Hugging Face and GitHub to show the live feed. These requests contain no personal information beyond what any web request includes.
  • Google AdSense — advertising, as described above, only after consent where required.

How we use information

We use the information to operate and improve the directory, review tool submissions, send the newsletter you asked for, answer messages and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

Form submissions are kept only as long as needed for the purpose they were sent for. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@ryza.si.

Children
